What You’ll Do

Donut Studios is looking for a full-time on-camera Content Producer to perform in and self-shoot paid social video content across all platforms. This is an execution-focused role centered on authentic, UGC-style performance. We’re in search of chronically online content creators to join our team and create killer paid media content for our diverse portfolio of top ecom brands.

You will be the on-camera talent for assigned shoots, filming yourself based on provided direction and scripts. This role is actor-first and requires a strong understanding of social media trends, pacing, and delivery.

What you’ll be diving into day-to-day

• Perform as on-camera talent in short-form paid social content
• Self-shoot content based on provided scripts and direction
• Execute platform-native performances that feel authentic and UGC-driven
• Film primarily solo from home and on set, with occasional shoots alongside production teams or other content producers at Donut Studios locations
• Shoot on-site 2–3 days per week in Manhattan Beach and other Los Angeles locations
• Collaborate with production and project management teams for scheduling and execution
• Film and execute relevant social media trends
• Apply light creative judgement on set, including the ability to adjust delivery, pacing, or execution when it improves performance or authenticity
• Manage light on-set logistics related to your own filming setup

What You’ll Need

• Strong on-camera presence with acting or performance experience
• Deep fluency in TikTok and Instagram Reels culture and trends
• Ability to deliver natural, authentic UGC-style performances
• Comfort filming yourself independently and consistently
• Ability to take direction while exercising light creative ownership in execution and performance
• Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Airtable, Google Workspace, etc.
• Must live in Los Angeles and be available for on-site shoots multiple days per week

Salary Range: $60,000–$70,000

The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidate’s qualifications and experience uniquely.

New Engen is proud to have offices in Seattle, New York, and Northwest Arkansas, while also supporting a distributed team across the country. This role, however, is required to be based in Los Angeles due to on-site filming needs.
