With deep, insightful data solutions, we help our partners to realize their dreams by efficiently getting their message out to potential customers. New Engen is driven by data, and the Advanced Analytics & Measurement team provides the reporting and insights that make that happen.

We’re seeking a Lead Analyst who embodies a growth mindset to own the delivery of high-impact analytics across multiple client accounts. This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics who excels at managing projects from start to finish, has a proactive and solution-based mindset, thrives on structure and detail, and communicates with confidence and clarity. While there is no direct people management currently for this role, you’ll play a key mentorship role and help shape a collaborative, high-performing analytics team.

You’ll lead the execution of data initiatives, prioritize tasks, and deliver insights that drive performance—bringing a disciplined, organized approach to every project.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary or secondary point of contact for analytics projects across multiple clients, managing communications with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Act as a key liaison between media and data engineering teams, confidently translating complex data into clear, actionable insights and advocating for analytics throughout the organization.
  • Own project management including timelines, task planning, and day-to-day execution to ensure consistent, on-time delivery.
  • Design and deliver dashboards, reports, forecasts, and scenario plans using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
  • Build and maintain robust SQL queries to support data exploration, reporting, and ad hoc requests.
  • Develop measurement frameworks and performance strategies aligned with marketing goals including the management and output storytelling of Media Mix Models.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of data sources, methodologies, and processes.
  • Identify and drive process improvements to enhance analytics workflows and team efficiency.
  • Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance and supporting their technical and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics, reporting, and business intelligence.
  • Strong project and task management skills—able to juggle priorities and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Hands on experience creating marketing performance dashboards and BI visualizations in platforms such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Intermediate SQL skills; able to query, validate, and troubleshoot data across platforms.
  • Experience working with data from digital marketing platforms (Google, Meta, Adobe, Salesforce).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational discipline, and documentation habits.
  • Confident, proactive communicator with client-facing experience.
  • Passion for mentoring and knowledge-sharing.

Benefits:

  • Remote work environment with flexible hours
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Comprehensive health benefits
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Pet care perks & insurance
  • Parental leave & family support
  • Learning & career development
  • Employee wellness programs
  • Commuter & transit benefits
  • Exclusive employee discounts

Nice-to-Haves:

  • PST time zone candidates
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree a plus.
  • Agency or consultancy experience.
  • Familiarity with MMM, MTA, incrementality testing, or app marketing.
  • Experience with Python or R for deeper data analysis (not required).

What's important to us:

BE THE GOOD
We act with integrity, humility, and altruism inside and outside our company. We promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in every aspect of our business. We cultivate a safe workplace where everyone feels respected, engaged, and able to reach their full potential. Bottom line: We give a shit.

EXPERTISE
We take pride in our work, holding ourselves to a high standard of executional excellence. We continually work to expand our skills and master our craft. Our approach sets a precedent and reverberates throughout our always-changing industry, inspiring adaptation among brands, platforms, and agencies.

GROWTH MINDSET
We bias towards action, starting with "what is possible?" instead of being stuck in scarcity. We embrace challenges and welcome feedback as opportunities to improve what we do and how we do it. We find joy in the process and are fueled by our curiosity to master complex problems. We aren't afraid to take calculated risks or operate in ambiguity, recognizing that imperfection is a part of progress.

EMPATHETIC DIRECTNESS
We provide feedback with courage, openness, and empathy- internally and externally, across departments, and at all levels. We do the right thing, even when it's hard. We aim to understand (not judge) and teach (not take over). Our feedback is empirical and focuses on behaviors and outcomes.

ALL IN
New Engen is our company. We believe in what we are building together and put the team first in order to accomplish our shared goals. We reject apathy and cynicism and do everything we can to help each other win. Being All In is not about the hours we log, nor does it mean that we agree on every decision. Rather, it is a mentality of common purpose that guides how we engage, reach consensus and show up for our clients and teammates.

New Engen is headquartered in Seattle, WA. Currently considering candidates in Greater Seattle or Remote.
