Description:
New Engen is seeking an Associate Director to join the Performance Marketing Group at New Engen. In this role, you will be a key member of the media team and will report to one of the Directors of Performance Marketing. The Associate Director will lead the evolution of our programmatic offering, managing high impact partnerships for clients, and develop strategic approaches to the media mix.
We are looking for a growth-minded, empathetic leader who will elevate our performance and profile in the entertainment vertical while establishing our long-term roadmap for growth. This role requires the ability to balance the current needs of the team and the agency with the vision to see where the industry is coming and how we should invest for the future.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our programmatic team with a focus on mentorship and training on necessary skills to elevate overall team capabilities
- With deep expertise in digital media and programmatic, you will serve as a resource for new business development, leading the strategy development for programmatic partnerships and communicating our core capabilities and differentiators
- Stay abreast of the evolving programmatic landscape, identifying shifts in market and technology trends, and evaluating and on boarding the right partners for long-term success
- Own media mix across enterprise client for New Engen
- Initiate partnerships, build relationships, and evaluate leading programmatic suppliers.
- Manage a team of experts, that own programmatic, social, and search execution of client campaigns
- Provide strategic thought leadership on process, audience strategies, campaign optimization, and the growth of the programmatic practice
- Ensure that all applicable programmatic techniques and technologies are deployed for optimal campaign performance
- Work with existing and new partners across platforms, data and inventory to deliver new and first to market opportunities that deliver on client business objectives
- Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of the media landscape and analytics tools (DSP’s, CDP’s, DMP’s etc)
- Leverage the empowerment of the leadership role to propose new ways of working that improve efficiency and team performance
- 6+ years of experience in programmatic media
- 2+ years mentoring and developing staff
- Programmatic Marketing subject matter expertise
- Deep understanding of programmatic media’s value and how it integrates into a holistic marketing approach
- Strong digital media background and project management skills
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead projects independently from start to finish, working with internal and external teams to make decisions and maintain forward momentum
- Excellent relationship building, diplomacy, and decision-making skills with the ability to think creatively

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000
The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
